Dr. Farhat specializes in non-surgical evaluation and management in a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, including, but not limited to low back pain, neck pain, arthritis, auto accident injuries. As a Physical Medical and Rehabilitation expert, his treatment focuses on maximizing the patient’s ability to function and using conservative management. Interventional treatments for pain is one method of care provided by Dr. Farhat.
Dr. Farhat graduated from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency and Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He works in Clinton Township, MI and on staff at Beaumont Hospital, Mclaren Macomb Medical and Mclaren Oakland.
Dr Farhat is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Having 15 years of medical experience, Dr. Farhat integrates a variety of treatment strategies including Physical Therapy, Medication recommendations, and a variety of spinal procedures including radiofrequency, epidurals, facet blocks, and spinal cord stimulators. Dr Farhat has also introduced new technology and updated treatments including the Disc Fx procedure, a minimally invasive microdiscectomy, and regenerative medicine options (stem cell and PRP).
